Terms of participation

A registration is complete only when the registration form has been submitted and a unique registration ID issued. Registrations are personal to the named participant and may not be transferred without the written consent of the National Secretariat.

The applicable fee is displayed at the point of registration and includes any per-person charge for accompanying participants. A registration is confirmed once the fee has been received in full, or an exemption has been granted by the Secretariat. Admission to conference sessions and materials is subject to the fee being settled.

Payment may be made online, by direct transfer to the official GNAPSMobile Money line, or at the finance desk at the venue. Where a direct transfer is made, the transaction ID submitted is verified against the Association’s statement before the payment is confirmed. Submitting a transaction ID that cannot be verified does not confirm a registration.

A participant who is unable to attend should notify the Secretariat as early as possible. Requests for a refund are considered by the National Executive and, where granted, are made to the account from which payment was received. A registration may be substituted for another participant from the same school at the discretion of the Secretariat.

Each participant is issued a badge carrying a unique QR code, which is scanned at the registration desk on each day of the conference. Badges are not transferable. A lost badge should be reported to the desk, where a replacement can be issued and the previous code invalidated.

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner befitting the Association and its motto, “The Welfare of the Child is Supreme”. The Secretariat may withdraw admission, without refund, from any participant whose conduct disrupts the conference or endangers others.

The conference is photographed and recorded for the Association’s records and publicity. By attending, participants accept that their image may appear in such material. A participant who does not wish to be photographed should inform the Secretariat at the registration desk.

The published programme is indicative. The Association reserves the right to alter the programme, speakers, venue arrangements or timings where circumstances require, and will publish any material change on this website.

Personal data provided during registration is processed in line with the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), as described in our privacy notice.
